In 2017, we chased a passion that had been brewing for years. We love to explore the intersection between spirituality and psychology, so we dove in and became Life Coaches. Over 60 clients later, we LOVE what we do!

Liz has a Bachelors in Psychology and is in grad school pursuing a Master's in Trauma and Grief Counseling and I (John) am a Pastor with over 14 years of experience coaching individuals and marriages as a Youth Pastor, Campus Pastor, and Discipleship Pastor. I am also in grad school pursuing a Master's in Pastoral Counseling.

 

Liz's calling is to lead others in truth and vulnerability towards healing and wholeness in Christ. Mine is to help people realize and reach their full potential. Coaching is the sweet spot where these callings intersect and empower each other. We love that we get to work together to help people move forward stronger through life coaching.

The heartbeat of our coaching process is to help individuals and marriages grow the five layers of their identity by allowing God to heal their past self, confront their false self, awaken their true self, and unleash their future self. In addition to our proven coaching process, we work with each client to create a personal transformation plan tailored to them.

Our work has been influenced by the work of John Eldredge, Henri Nouwen, C.S. Lewis, Dan Allender, Dr. John Gottman, Brene Brown, Dr. Caroline Leaf, Emerson Eggerichs, John Bevere, Dr. Mark Brackett, David Kessler, and Adam Young LCSW.

We have four kids: Noah (9), Lila (4), Stella (2), and Gus (our Golden Retriever). We love catching time with our family and friends as we create spaces where people can feel heard, known, and loved.

 

In addition to coaching, I am a Discipleship Pastor at LifeChurch Canton, a diverse vibrant church near Metro Detroit where I help people take steps to follow, imitate, and become like Jesus Christ through a dynamic process called the LifeJourney.
